As the lead Equity & Deferred Compensation product manager you will own the end-to-end product life cycle for firmwide Employee stock purchase plan (ESPP) Restricted Stock Unit (RSU) and deferred cash capabilities. You act as the voice of the customer and the connective tissue across stakeholder groups developing products aligned to our compensation strategy and operational controls. Leveraging your product craft technical acumen and excellence in stakeholder management you will guide successful launches integrate vendor and internal systems gather feedback and ensure exceptional employee experiences. With a strong commitment to scalability resiliency and stability you will partner closely with engineering the Equity & Deferred Compensation team vendors change management and other cross-functional stakeholders to deliver outcomes that exceed expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with head of Equity & Deferred Compensation team to define the product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to firmwide strategy global regulations and regional needs.
  • Lead discovery and research to map end-to-end employee journeys and prioritize pain points for simplification and automation.
  • Leverage market research insights in partnership with the Equity & Deferred Compensation Strategy team to inform product development and enhancements.
  • Ensure product design and functionality meet user needs and enhance the overall employee experience including conducting user testing and gathering feedback.
  • Own and prioritize the backlog; write clear epics user stories and acceptance criteria that translate stakeholder needs into delivery.
  • Partner with engineering on architecture and integrations ensuring non functional standards for resiliency performance security and privacy.
  • Collaborate on vendor integrations and conversions to internal solutions with rigorous testing reconciliation and operational readiness.
  • Validate builds via UAT and regression; govern release readiness change management and knowledge transfer for HR and employees.
  • Define and monitor KPIs and dashboards for adoption cycle time exceptions and employee satisfaction; act on insights.
  • Harmonize global localization requirements while maintaining firmwide standards and a consistent employee experience.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level communications.

Required qualifications capabilities and skills

  • 5 years of product management or equivalent experience in complex matrixed environments
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle UX design practices and data analytics.
  • Proven track record leading endtoend product life cycle activities: discovery ideation roadmap creation requirements definition delivery and value measurement.
  • Strong collaboration skills across engineering design business stakeholders and vendor partners; adept at influencing and driving alignment.
  • Technical fluency to partner effectively with vendors and engineering on system architecture APIs/integrations data models and nonfunctional requirements (scalability resiliency stability security).
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft clear user stories business requirements and executivelevel presentations; strong decisionmaking and ownership mindset.

Preferred qualifications capabilities and skills

  • Prior experience with deferred and equity compensation programs (RSUs ESPP) and related operational processes controls and regulatory considerations.
  • Demonstrated success delivering global products with localization and regional compliance requirements.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills with a track record of influencing and collaborating across diverse teams
  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed complex organization
  • Experience in HR Compensation or financial services preferred
