JOB DESCRIPTION- Housekeeping Lead
Summary/Objective Housekeeping Lead responsibilities include organizing employee shifts training motivating team members and checking private and public areas for tidiness. To be successful in this role you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.

Essential Functions
1. Train room attendants on brand standards on cleaning guest room /and bathroom
2. Stay within the minutes per room allocated for the property
3. Supervises staff on the daily basis; room should be inspected and placed back into clean status every 30minutes
4. Maintains hallways common areas and stairwells for cleanliness
5. Resolves guest Concerns quickly efficiently and courteously
6. Complete daily and monthly paperwork
7. Schedule shifts and arrange for replacements in case of absences
8. Conducts regularly scheduled meetings of housekeeping personnel
9. Complete monthly linen inventory and secures all items in a secured room
10. Completes quarterly general cleans for each room
11. Complete maintenance tickets for any items not working in the room or safety concerns
12. Insure the safety of our guests property assets; never open door for guests who forgot their key (redirect them back to the front desk)

Supervisory Responsibility oversees the housekeeping laundry departments and house person on a daily basis and reports to general manager.
Work Environment this job operates in a hotel / public environment. This role routinely uses standard this job operates in a hotel environment. This role routinely uses standard equipment computer calculator vacuum mop broom chemicals commercial laundry equipment and Ozone machine.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand walk use hands handle or feel and reach with hands and arms able to lift 30 lbs.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work this is a full time position with long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel some travel needed for brand certification.
Required Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Minimum plus 2 years previous housekeeping supervisor experience in the hotel industry
