Equifind have partnered with a global real estate group to help them find a recently qualified accountant to join their London team as a Finance Business Partner.

They are a fiercely ambitious company growing across the world both through diversification organic growth and acquisitions. Boasting assets under management in the tends of billions with a workforce of more than 900 employees spanning four continents.

The Finance Business Partner will serve as a key liaison between the finance department and various business units within the company. This role requires a strong blend of financial expertise business acumen and interpersonal skills to provide insightful financial analysis strategic guidance and support to senior management and department heads.

Key Duties Include:

  • Partner with department heads and project teams to assess the financial viability and profitability of new initiatives projects and investments.
  • Build financial models and run scenario analysis to show the impact of strategic decisions on overall performance.
  • Oversee the monthly reporting cycle (P&L balance sheet and cash flow) ensuring timely delivery of draft financials and highlighting key points for discussion.
  • Take ownership of business line reporting and analysis making sure transactions are recorded in line with current reporting requirements.
  • Maintain accurate balance sheet accounts and monthly reconciliations applying sound judgement on more technical items.
  • Support the year-end audit and tax process.

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Qualified accountant
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within a similar role
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Sound understanding of IFRS reporting standards
  • Great communication skills and the ability to speak finance to non-finance personnel
  • Strong excel skills and advanced modelling
  • Exceptional commercial awareness

Compensation:

  • Base salary of 60-65000
  • Annual bonus commensurate with company and individual performance
