Ship Confirm Clerk *Pay Rate $18.20 per Hour*

POSITION PURPOSE:

Ship Confirm and invoice all sales orders shipped to companys customers.

WORK SCHEDULE: 10:00 AM- 6:30 PM (M-F)

  • Work the last Saturday of the month usually 6 to 8 hours.

  • Work the last four days of the month 9 to 12 hours if customer requires it.

  • Work overtime if required

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The incumbent will use JDE system for all orders.

  • Ship Confirm Clerk must verify pick slip information such as order ship to address charge codes and box count and compare it to the systems information before invoicing and ship confirming customers orders.

  • Must be able to lift up to 50lb boxes from the conveyor to trailer.

  • Place carriers labels on boxes and staging packages in carriers Pup truck.

  • LTL shipments ship confirm clerk must get weight skid count and measurements of skid in order to process order with requested carrier.

  • LTL shipments ship confirm clerk must verify all information on picks slip and system before confirming any order.

  • Assist Wholesale Lead and Supervisor with CSR department requesting email to provide tracking details information order corrections and expedite orders.

  • Assist Wholesale Lead and Supervisor requesting call tags cross shipments schedule pick up from customers.

  • Assist Quality team with overage shortages and mix shipments to costumers.

  • Constantly communication with Carriers Scheduling pick-ups customer shipments.

  • Manage RSCO and Customers Portals (Link Username and Passwords Log).

  • Manage Customer Portals Visual Aids.

  • Drive an upright lift to pick stage and load materials on to trucks.

  • Sweep take out the trash and keep their area clean.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proficient Computer skills Microsoft office
  • Warehouse Materials handler knowledge
  • Bilingual English/Spanish.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Ship Confirm and invoice all sales orders shipped to companys customers.
  • AIAG label all boxes when shipment requires it.
  • Place boxes and/or packages of process order in proper carrier skid or truck.
  • Other duties as assigned

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Employee will be exposed to moderate noise level. Due to the open environment of the warehouse must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat humidity and cold. High forklift traffic.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Employee must be able to work standing frequent bending stooping squatting kneeling pushing and pulling of parts lift to 50 lbs. Move boxes 50% of the time or more.
