Job Description:
Typical tasks include analysis of financial documents assisting with or conducting interviews detailed report writing analysis of Medicaid providers billings to detect fraudulent schemes and abnormal patterns preparation of analytical charts assisting the investigative and legal staff with case development and problem solving and testifying in court. Preference will be given to candidates who are Certified Fraud Examiners (CFE) or who possess relevant accounting and investigation experience. Occasional statewide travel required. Applicants must have no felony serious misdemeanor or domestic abuse related convictions. A criminal history and abuse background check will be conducted prior to an offer of employment.

Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree in accounting or closely related field and three to four years of experience in accounting or auditing required. Prior experience relating to fraud examinations medical terminology and medical claims/claims analysis is desired. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word Excel Powerpoint and Access. Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) designation preferred. Experience involving application of state statutes agency rules and regulations and court/administrative hearings process helpful.
