Overview

Planned Systems International (PSI) is an Enterprise IT services company who focuses on designing building securing and operating cutting-edge software solutions that drive mission success and operational excellence for Federal Government organizations. PSI supports the Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) Command & Control (C2) Mission Systems (C2MS) task order focused on delivery excellence cost/schedule fidelity and mission outcomes. This SkillBridge role provides transitioning Service Members with real-world program and project management experience in an operational acquisition/IT environmentcontributing directly to performance outcomes that drive Exceptional CPARs.

We are currently seeking a transitioning Service Member (all branches/ranks welcome) with strong leadership organization and communication skills who can coordinate multidisciplinary teams manage schedules and risks and drive results across Agile and/or hybrid programs supporting AFSOF customers and stakeholders.

Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities

  • Program/Project Execution
    • Leaddaytodayproject coordination for C2MS workstreams (planning standups backlog/boards sprint events releases and retrospectives).
    • Maintain integrated master schedules (IMS) and product roadmaps track milestones dependencies and criticalpath.
    • Develop and manage project baselines (scope schedule cost) change requests and variance analyses.
  • Stakeholder & Customer Engagement
    • Facilitate communication across engineering cyber/RMF testlogistics and operations teams coordinate with government stakeholders vendors and subcontractors.
    • Prepare and deliver status reports dashboards and readaheadsfor IPTs PMRs and customer reviews.
    • Capture actions/decisions and drive closure with owners and due dates.
  • Performance Compliance & Readiness
    • Build andmaintainRACI WBS and work authorization artifacts; ensure deliverables meet quality standards and CDRL requirements.
    • Track risks issues and opportunities (RIO);maintainregisters with mitigation/contingency plans and quantitative scoring.
    • Support cybersecurity/RMF milestones test readiness (TRR) deployment readiness (DRB) and sustainment handoffs.
  • Financial & Contractual Awareness
    • Assist with BOE inputs EVM-lite metrics (CPI/SPI) burndowns and funding profile visibility.
    • Monitor subcontractor performance and deliverable acceptance against SOW/TO requirements.
  • Process Improvement & CPARs Excellence
    • Identifyprocess gaps and implement simple auditable improvements that increaseontime/firsttimerightdelivery.
    • Contribute toartifacts and evidence that underpinCPARsQualityScheduleManagement andSmall Businessratings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Eligibility:Currently serving U.S. Service Member eligible for DoDSkillBridge(command approval).
  • Experience:3 years of leadership or project/operations management experience in the military or defense environment (team lead NCOIC/OIC flight lead shop chief detachment/division staff or equivalent).
  • Skills:
    • Strong planning coordination and written/oral communication skills.
    • Proficient with project/task tracking tools (e.g. MS Project Azure DevOps Jira or equivalent) and MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methods.
  • Clearance: Active T3 investigation with the ability to obtain and maintain necessary security clearances as required for access to classified information.
  • Education:Bachelors degreeorequivalent military training/experience.

Desired Qualifications

  • PMP CAPM Agile (CSM/SAFe) or DAU/Defense Acquisition credentials (e.g. PM T&E Logistics ENG Cyber).
  • Experience with Air Force programs AFLCMC/HN or similar C2/C4ISR portfolios.
  • Understanding of RMF/ATO processes DoD 5000/Adaptive Acquisition Framework test planning (DT/OT) andlogistics/sustainment fundamentals.
  • Familiarity with contract structures (IDIQ TOs) CDRLs and EVM metrics.
  • Prior work with Jira/Confluence Azure DevOps SharePoint/Teams Power BI.

    • Schedule Fidelity:95% milestone adherence across assigned workstreams; zero critical slippage without approvedrebaseline.
    • Risk Discipline:RIO registermaintainedweekly; high risks have actionable timebound mitigations; trend shows risk burndown.
    • Quality of Deliverables:100%on-timeCDRL submissions with 1 minor rework cycle on average.
    • Stakeholder Satisfaction:Positive customer/IPT feedback on cadence communication and artifact readiness; contributes to CPARs Exceptional trajectory.
    • Process Improvement:At least two documented improvements (e.g. template standardization dashboard automation or handoff checklists) with measurable impact.

    • Mentorship from the Task Order Lead and exposure to government IPTs reviews andacquisitiondocumentation.

  • Work Environment & Logistics
    • Work Setting:Hybrid teamleveragingAgile ceremonies and Microsoft 365 collaboration (Teams/SharePoint/Planner/Lists).
    • Tools:MS Project or Project for the Web Azure DevOps/Jira Confluence/SharePoint Power BI and standard office productivity tools.
