Job Summary

Position

Sacramento Area Sewer District (SacSewer)is looking for a dynamic Human Resources leader to fill the Human Resources Managerposition.

Under the direction of the Internal Services Department Director the Human Resources Manageris a confidential position that oversees leads and participates in all activities of the Human Resources Division including short and long-term planning as well as the development and administration of policies procedures and initiatives for SacSewer.

This class supports the executive team in a variety of administrative coordinative analytical and liaison capacities. Assignments require knowledge of public policy SacSewer functions and activities including the role of the Board of Directors and the ability to develop oversee and implement interdisciplinary projects and programs. Responsibilities include coordinating the activities of the Division with those of other departments and outside agencies and managing and overseeing the complex and varied human resources functions. This class serves as a direct advisor to executives and management on policies procedures and personnel related programs.

Highly qualified candidates will possess extensive experience leading and managing the full scope of HR programs and activities with public sector employers.
