Catholic Community Services Family Behavioral Health is looking for a Clinician to join our team of innovators who explore and develop new approaches and implement novel strategies. Our teams provide individualized creative and flexible services infused with evidence-based and evidence-informed strategies.

WHAT WE OFFER:

  • Starting Base Salary Range:$86611.20 -$96345.60
  • Collaborative Supervision

Additional Pay/Ability to Earn Additional Pay of:

  • First Responder pay:$1800.00 per year
  • Crisis Team Member Differential Pay- $125.00 PER PAY PERIOD
  • Pay based on performance:up to $8000.00 per year
  • Clinical Licensing Supervision
  • Licensure pay$250.00 per pay period (2 times per month)
  • Bi-lingual fluency skills in Spanish and English or other languages as needed:$100 -200 per pay period (2 times per month) for service provision in support the families we serve. Tiered language stipend based on language proficiency and youth and family needs.

Training and Supervision:

  • Extensive training in multiple clinical approaches as well as training in other areas
  • Daily and weekly supervision and support with your Clinical Supervisor as needed

Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:

  • The Childrens Mobile Crisis Team with CCSs Family Behavioral Health System provides a creative and innovative mobile crisis response to children and youth who are in the midst of a mental health crisis. The crisis clinician may meet with the child and family in a hospital emergency room in community settings or in the home. A mobile crisis clinician has aflexiblework schedule to ensure the crisis teams ability to respond to community crisis needs. Often both the child and parent are in distress and need a clinician who can calmly listen with empathy while clinically assessing the situation. When responding to a child in an emergency department the crisis clinician works closely with family members and hospital emergency department staff so that the family experiences consistent and integrated care. Once all family members are ready to move forward the clinician youth and parent(s) then work together to develop a plan for safety and stabilization that will allow the child to safely remain in the most normative environment possible (preferably the childs own home).
  • This position will be based out of the Tacoma office. This position requires scheduling flexibility to meet the needs of youth and families served. The services we offer will be provided in community-based settings and in family unique way of working allows clinicians the opportunity to offer a high level of collaboration coordination and intensive behavior health services while allowing room for creativity and needs driven work. Emphasis is on achieving incredible outcomes with children youth and families by actively partnering with them along with their natural and community services and supports to achieve long term safety and stability in our neighborhoods and communities.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE SEEKING IN A CANDIDATE:

  • Masters degree in Behavioral Sciences or equivalent accredited degree.
  • Knowledge of WISe (Wraparound with Intensive Services) principles and practice or Crisis Response strategies preferred
  • Passion for helping families stay together.
  • Energetic innovative style with the ability to engage children youth and family members in services.
  • Enthusiastic and optimistic approach encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.
  • Natural ability to work with others through a genuine strengths-based approach appreciating unique qualities and assets of all involved.
  • Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional schedule (i.e. fixed 8-5 Monday through Friday) facility-based position.
  • Should be able to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities which will be discussed in our screening process.
  • Energetic innovative style with the ability to engage children youth and family members in services.
  • Enthusiastic and optimistic approach encouraging ongoing participation of all involved.
  • Natural ability to work with others through a genuine strengths-based approach appreciating unique qualities and assets of all involved.
  • Passion for helping families stay together.
  • Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrate the necessary attitudes knowledge and skills to deliver culturally competent services and work effectively in multi-cultural situations.
  • Ability to visually assess safety in the community and family homes.
  • Ability to meet with clients and colleagues in homes and community locations.
  • Preference for a flexible schedule rather than a traditional fixed 8-5 Monday through Friday facility-based position.
  • Should be able to participate in on-call rotation responsibilities which will be discussed in our screening process.
  • Applicant must successfully pass required background clearances prior to an offer of employment.
  • Valid drivers license & current automobile insurance reliable transportation with an acceptable driving record per CCS policy.
