Materials Planner
Cuernavaca Morelos - On-site
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive Materials Planner to ensure material supply aligns with production schedules and minimum stock levels guaranteeing operational continuity. The role involves delivering efficient effective and adaptable solutions to meet production demands. You will maintain strong relationships both internally and externally to ensure material availability supports business needs.
This position develops its functions in a fast-paced dynamic environment supporting Planning Production and Logistics teams. This position aims to continuously improve supply chain functions add value to the organization and collaborate with diverse departments to achieve results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain stock levels of all materials including white cards modules components stationery and consumables at defined thresholds.
- Ensure production lines have the required materials to meet customer demand.
- Guarantee timely availability of raw materials and consumables as per order requirements.
- Manage on-time purchase orders (POs) and follow up on critical suppliers to avoid production delays.
- Plan and forecast inbound costs for imported materials optimizing expenses.
- Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to reduce ordering expenses and improve inventory control.
- Propose and supervise improvements related to supply chain processes and inventory management to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in industrial engineering Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
- English language proficiency at intermediate level (B2) or higher.
- Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle ERP systems.
- Over 2 years of experience in manufacturing processes time management and forecasting.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience and Proficiency in Excel (macros).
- Experience in International Supply Chain.
- Experience working in Manufacturing envioments.
