Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- Java Selenium & Playwright
We are looking for an experienced Lead Consultant with deep automation experience using Java Selenium and Playwright. The role requires leadership capabilities strong technical hands-on skills and the ability to implement modern testing frameworks and practices.
Responsibilities
Lead design and development of robust scalable test automation frameworks using Java Selenium and Playwright.
Own end-to-end automation delivery for the project ensuring high quality and timely releases.
Define automation scope strategy and roadmap aligned with product goals.
Train and mentor team members on Selenium Playwright and advanced automation patterns.
Conduct code reviews to ensure quality maintainability and reusability.
Work closely with development and QA teams to identify automation opportunities.
Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and enable continuous testing.
Ensure adherence to automation standards processes and documentation.
Provide technical leadership resolve complex issues and act as SME for automation tools.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Java Selenium WebDriver TestNG/JUnit.
Working experience with Playwright (Java or JavaScript/TypeScript).
Solid understanding of testing frameworks and design patterns such as POM Page Factory and keyword driven.
Exposure to API testing tools like Rest Assured or Postman.
Experience integrating automation with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong leadership communication and team-management skills.
Bachelors/masters in computer science Engineering or related field.
Preferred qualifications
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and drive resolution in a collaborative team environment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Leadership experience including leading teams managing projects and driving technical initiatives to successful completion.
Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g. ISTQB certifications) are a plus.

The approximate annual base compensation range for this position is $55000 to $68500. The actual offer reflecting the total compensation package plus benefits will be determined by a number of factors which include but are not limited to the applicants experience knowledge skills and abilities; geographic location; and internal equity
