The Research Institute of the McGill University Health Centre (RI-MUHC) is a world-renowned biomedical and hospital research centre. Located in Montreal Quebec the Institute is the research arm of the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) affiliated with the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University. Position summary
Department / Research Program: Medicine / Metabolic Disorders and Complications
Under the general supervision of the Principal Investigators and in close collaboration with the study team and study co-investigators the incumbent is responsible for the coordination of clinical research study activities at the study site (MGH-PeriOperative Program) to ensure that project timelines and study goals are achieved.
The main projects are 1) A novel multimodal intervention for surgical prehabilition of patients with lung cancer 2) Strengthening candidacy for same day discharge 3) A feasibility study of prehabilitation in frail colorectal cancer patients and 4) Precision prehabilitation as a novel approach to maintain muscle function across the ovarian cancer trajectory.

nutritional assessment and counseling
with REB documents regulatory work and accounting
biological specimen collection
as resource person resolves problems and instructs others
departmental and academic meetings to increase knowledge and understanding of study-related activities.
Excellent French and English spoken and written
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently or with teams with minimum supervision
Strong leadership and organization skills
Ability to multitask and prioritize
Willingness to acquire new skills and adapt to new situations
Problem assessment and solving abilities
Demonstrates diplomacy discretion and good judgment
Computer literacy including Microsoft Office and RedCap statistical software is an asset.
Status: Temporary part-time (21 hours/week)
Pay Scale: Commensurate with education and experience. $27.32 - $50.74/h.
Work Shift: Variable Schedule: 3 days per week
Work Site: MGH 1650 Cedar Ave.
