NEPEAN Longwall Paget Mackay
4-Day Compressed Working Week
NEPEAN Longwall is a leading provider of longwall mining equipment and services to Australias underground coal industry. Due to continued growth we are seeking an experienced Hydraulics Fitter to join our Paget-based workshop team.
This is a local workshop-based role offering a 4-day compressed working week providing genuine worklife balance while working on specialised underground mining equipment.
Key responsibilities include:
Assembly and overhaul of hydraulic cylinders pumps valves and manifolds
Fault-finding testing and commissioning of hydraulic systems
Reading and interpreting hydraulic schematics and drawings
Ensuring all work meets quality safety and WHS standards
Working closely with electrical and mechanical trades
About You
Trade qualification as a Fitter / Hydraulics Fitter or similar
Experience in hydraulics within mining heavy industrial or mobile plant environments
Longwall or underground coal experience (highly regarded not essential)
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Safety-focused with strong attention to detail
