Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Airframe Performance Systems (AP&S) Project Management Manager to join our Commercial Modifications & Maintenance (CM&M) team in Long Beach CA. onsite.

This position is for a First-Line Manager who will oversee the execution of AP&S projects with responsibility for on-time performance and profit / loss. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders across organizations. Position Responsibilities:

• Manage project management specialist for AP&S programs
• Manage employees performing business management activities in the area of Project Management
• Develops and executes project and process plans implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals
• Acquires resources for projects and processes provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvement
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers stakeholders peers partners and direct reports.
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches products and processes.
• Establishes Program Management Best Practices (PMBP) program goals and establishes a PMBP improvement plan

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelors degree
• 10 years relevant experience

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• Experience in contracts and proposals
• PMP certification preferred
• Prior experience within commercial aviation AP&S
• Prior experience with project management
• Prior people management experience
