Job Description:
This position is a training and career development opportunity with a Water Production or Water Reclamation facility. This position will be located at one of Gwinnett Countys five water facilities located in either Buford Lilburn or Norcross.
Essential Duties:(These duties are a representative sample; position assignments may vary.)
- Assisting operators with lab samples testing and analysis
- Filing/Record keeping
- Organizing Operations and Maintenance Manuals and Water Production / Reclamation plant drawings
- Light maintenance duties such as cleaning and painting
Preferred Work Schedule: 3-days per week 8-hours per day (7:00am 4:00pm)
The Grade for this position is 97.
Minimum Qualifications
- Valid drivers license;
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.;
- Must be available to work 24 hours per week; between Monday and Friday;
- Basic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and the ability to learn new software;
- Basic math skills.
