Job Summary

We have an opportunity for an Operator to join us at our Paper Mill in Trafford Park to contribute to the maintenance of the large-scale heavy machinery we have on site.

What You Will Do
You will be responsible for operating the machinery in your assigned area where you will execute all operational tasks with excellence and adhere to all documented procedures while being responsible for keeping your area clean & well organised. You will have accountability for quality checks in your responsible area and you will follow a number of internal processes to ensure all product test criteria is met. Within the role you will record any tasks completed in the daily management system and execute any schedule maintenance activities set out by your team leader.
Who You Are
We would love to hear from you if you have:
- Previous experience in working in a similar heavy machine industry ideally within papermaking but not essential
- Excellent trouble shooting skills with the ability to plan and work to tight timelines while managing several tasks
- Strong communication skills
- Strong PC skills (excel word project)
- High level of numeracy
- FLT Driving Licence (desirable)
- Mobile Elevated Working Platforms (MEWPS) Licence (desirable)
