The FP&A team builds financial forecastsmaintainsTVUltimatesforall ofSPTs domestic productions and supportsBusinessAffairs and senior management in deal negotiations and business pursuit of these goals the FP&A team liaises with other finance groups within the organization such asProductionAccountingDistributionAuditAccountingTechnicalAccountingBillingsCorporateReportingResiduals &Participations as well non-finance groups like theCreativeProduction andBusinessAffairs teams.
This team is looking for aSenior Analystwhois committed to delivering value through commercially focused analysis and approaches problems with an intellectually curious mindset.
Responsibilities:
Reports directly to the Director FP&A Finance
Responsible for the financial planning process of TV SeriesUltimates P&L&Cash for various titles. This includes mid-range plan quarterly forecast and budget processes
SupportSenior Management Finance Business Affairs & Creative teamswithfinancial scenario modeling fordeal negotiations & other commercial decision making
Collaborate with Cross-Functional teams within Finance/Accounting Operations & Creative toconsistentlydevelop &implement processes to improve efficiency & leverage/improve existing technologyto continually drive value for SPT
Build andmaintainseriesUltimatesfor purposes of financial reporting and planningin accordance withIFRS&maintainappropriate controlswithin the planning and ultimate process as required by Sarbanes Oxley
Prepare financial presentations for operations &financemanagement
Qualifications:
BS/BA degree withfinance/accounting/analyticalfocus
Self-motivated with intellectually curious mindset
Excellent written and verbal communications skills with an ability to collaborate effectively across multiple departments and levels
3 yearsEntertainment industry finance/accounting or public accounting experience
Hands on experience with ultimate accountingin accordance withIFRS orASC 926preferred
Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
Strong data analytics experience & capability to adapt to and usenew technology
CPA and/or MBA preferred
SAP/BPCknowledge preferred
