- Applytestingproceduresusingvarioustypesofrelayandelectricaltestequipment
- Testlow-andmedium-voltagebreakers(MeggerDuctorHi-PotHi-Currenttimingtests)
- PerformtransformertestingincludingpowerfactorTTRinsulationresistanceandwindingresistance
- Completemechanicalworkonbreakersincludingwiringpaintingandpartsreplacement
- Accuratelyreadmetersandplotcurves
- Completetestreportsclearlyandontime
- UseaPCtosupporttestingactivitiesreportinganddatacollection
- Maintainstrongsubstationsafetyawarenessandfollowallsitesafetyrequirements
- Takeonotherdutiesasneededtosupporttheteam

- Associate degree in Electrical Power Electrical Engineering or 5 years of relevant field experience
- ExperienceasaSwitchgearorHigh-VoltageTechnician
- Comfortableusinghigh-voltagetestequipmentandknowledgeablewithlow-andmedium-voltagetesting
- SolidcomputerskillsincludingMicrosoftWordExcelandOutlook
- Abilitytoworkaflexibleschedulebasedoncustomerneeds
- Validdriverslicense
- Strongcommunicationskills
- Willingnesstotravelextensively(upto5daysperweekovernighttravelpossible)
- Availabilityforon-calldutyapproximatelysixtimesperyear
