Your role:
- Assist in planning execution and completion of a wide range of clients in either the large client Audit stream as part of a team or the Private Enterprise stream focusing on Review and Compilation (T1 T2 T3 T5) engagements both independently and as part of a small team.
- Supervise junior staff during field assignments inform managers of engagement status and manage engagement progress.
- Analyze financial information accounting processes and operations procedures; provide account reconciliations and propose adjusting entries.
- Assess risk controls operational performance and adherence to the applicable Financial Reporting Framework.
- Prepare personal corporate non-profit organization and charitable tax returns if part of the private enterprise team.
- Collaborate with peers and senior management on file planning and completion within time constraints.
- Provide personal attentive service to clients to encourage productive working relationships.
- Prepare and review financial statements and related note disclosures.
What you bring to the table:
- Successful completion of the Common Final Evaluation (CFE) at a minimum holding a status of CPA-in-waiting.
- Minimum of three to five years direct experience.
- Experience leading junior staff on client deliverables.
- Project management and strong organization skills.
- Experience with Caseware/Caseview TaxPrep Xero and Quickbooks (QBO) is an asset.
