Job Summary
Job Description
- Schedule:Primary shift isMondayFriday 7:00 AM 3:30 PM.
- Flexibility Required:Occasional evening shifts (12:00 PM 8:00 PM or 12:30 PM 8:30 PM) and 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM 7:00 PM).
- Weekends:Rotating coverage across all staff members.
- Clinical Management:Design and monitor patient-specific therapeutic regimens to ensure optimal cost-effective outcomes.
- Verification:Interpret and verify medication orders for accuracy and clinical appropriateness.
- Consultation:Provide PK/PD consultations and expert drug information to the healthcare team patients and families.
- Collaboration:Partner with prescribers on medication adjustments and document interventions in the EMR.
- Safety & Quality:Manage ADR reporting and medication errors while maintaining compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Leadership:Supervise support staff and lead departmental projects.
- Education:Bachelors Degree in Pharmacy (required).
- Licensure:Active Pharmacist licenses in bothKansasandMissouri.
- Certifications:
- Missouri Medication Therapy Services (MTS) Certification.
- American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS)
