Unity Lab Services a part of Thermo Fisher Scientific provides integrated solutions instrument and enterprise services to our customers.
Were looking for a driven high-performing leader to take charge of a top-tier Field Service team and elevate service operations across our Instrument & Enterprise Services (IES) portfolio overseeing the United States Service organization for CMD. This role demands a leader who delivers consistently excellent service maintains exceptional customer satisfaction and strengthens service margins. Your leadership will be central to accelerating organic revenue growth and boosting overall profitability.
As the Director of U.S. Regional Field Service you will partner closely with leaders across IES the division leadership and corporate functions to ensure we deliver on our service commitments and consistently meet customer expectations. You will lead a team of six (6) direct reports supporting roughly 290 Field Service Engineers and Field Service Supervisors.
Success in this role requires a seasoned leader with a track record of guiding remote teams and collaborating effectively across a complex organization. You must be able to build trust quickly drive accountability and uphold high performance standards. Responsibilities:
Proactively drive strategic changes to advance the organizations goals
Ensure achievement of annual financial targets and key service delivery metrics
Develop and implement strategic plans budgets and programs
Lead the team in implementing Practical Process Improvement Business Systems to improve efficiency.
Work with Business Process Owners to ensure compliance and drive continuous process improvements
Develop and mentor team members to meet their career goals
Requirements:
Bachelors or Masters Degree equivalent experience with a minimum of 10 years of service/sales leadership and management experience.
Experience in services or relevant industry with preference for analytical instrument or lab equipment experience
Strong ability to influence at all levels within the organization
Diversified experiences of growing complexity and scope showing a history of growth and potential for larger responsibility
Ability to lead in a highly matrixed multi-cultural environment
Knowledge of forecasting budgeting service cost drivers and basic accounting principles
Experience in change management principles and methodologies
Excellent conflict resolution and interpersonal skills
Ability to travel approximately 40% to 50%

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Pennsylvania is $145500.00$218250.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company team and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
