Qualifications:
College hours forTitle I campus48 required or a score of 464 on the Para-Pro test
College hours high school diploma or GED forNon-Title I campus
Proficient keyboarding word processing and file maintenance skills
Excellent organization communication and interpersonal skills
School office experience or volunteer experience (preferred)
Detail oriented
Ability to work within deadlines and handle interruptions
Physical ability to move textbooks
Valid Texas educational aide certificate

College hours for Title I campus 48 required or a score of 464 on the Para-Pro test.
Primary Purpose:
Assist the classroom teacher with instructional needs as appropriate for the grade and subject area.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain all workroom equipment i.e. copiers laminator etc.
- Assist classroom teachers with worksheets tests forms and other documents as requested.
- Assist as needed in the classroom clinic cafeteria receptionist duties student registrationattendance etc.
- Comply with standard practices and ethical conduct toward students instructional personnel staff and the administration.
- Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Working Conditions:
Maintain emotional control under stress. Frequent standing; stooping bending kneeling pushing and pulling.
