Job Summary

The Teamcenter Upgrade Expert will be responsible for planning executing and validating Teamcenter upgrades including patches and version migrations. The role requires strong expertise in Teamcenter customization deployment and data integrity validation. The expert will collaborate with infrastructure database and application teams to ensure smooth upgrade execution and provide post-upgrade support.

Key Responsibilities

Plan execute and validate Teamcenter upgrade projects (minor & major version upgrades patches and hotfixes).
Perform pre-upgrade assessments environment preparation and compatibility checks for applications databases and integrations.
Migrate customizations (ITK BMIDE SOA AWC RAC) and validate them post-upgrade.
Ensure data integrity and performance optimization during and after upgrade.
Collaborate with infrastructure DBA and application teams to ensure a smooth upgrade process.
Create and maintain upgrade documentation test plans and rollback strategies.
Provide post-upgrade support troubleshooting and user training if required.

Required Skills

Hands-on experience in Teamcenter upgrades (RAC & AWC).

Knowledge of BMIDE ITK SOA Active Workspace (AWC) and CAD integrations.

Experience with Teamcenter Deployment Center and multi-tier architecture.

Good understanding of database management systems (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL).

Familiarity with Linux/Unix and Windows environments.

Problem-solving skills to handle upgrade issues independently.

Exposure to AWS/Azure/Cloud-hosted Teamcenter environments.

Experience in Teamcenter-NX/CAD integrations.

Knowledge of PLM-ERP integrations (SAP/S4HANA preferred).

Siemens PLM certifications (if any) are an added advantage.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
Siemens PLM certifications (if any) will be an added advantage.
