  • Temporary role up to November 2026 plus creation of a Talent Pool for future opportunities.
  • Full-time at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
  • Located in Parramatta or NSW regional office location by negotiation with hybrid working supported
  • Salary relative to experience and ranges from $113574 to $125720 plus Super

The Natural Resource Access Regulator (NRAR) enforces the NSW water laws and offers guidance and education to help water users comply. We strive to be an efficient and effective regulator that celebrates and reflects the diversity of the community we serve. Working with NRAR provides a chance to make sure water is used lawfully so that all communities and the environment get a fair share.

Our Service and Assurance team is currently seeking to appoint a Project Officer Service Coordinator to facilitate and ensure first point resolution of customer enquiries received through phone calls and online enquiries through a broad technical understanding of the water management framework.

The role delivers and oversees the provision of timely accurate and responsive administration coordination and support services to ensure seamless business operations in the NRAR Contact Centre and centralised administration addition the role is responsible for continuous improvement of enquiries management and related processes.

About You

You are a resilient and customer-focused professional who can manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. With strong communication skills you confidently handle complex and sensitive enquiries providing accurate advice while maintaining a calm and professional approach. Your ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders ensures timely resolution of issues and high-quality service delivery.

You bring a broad understanding of the NSW water management framework and experience in a frontline customer service environment. Skilled in problem-solving and using technology to improve processes you can adapt quickly to changing circumstances and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. If you are passionate about supporting compliance and delivering exceptional customer experiences this role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact.

Essential Requirements

  • Willing to work in a call centre environment with fixed hours and defined break times.
  • Available to work between 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
