Role Summary:Admissions leads/supervisors oversee the Admissions staff of cashiers greeters and leads as well as cashiers from other departments in their daily tasks to ensure the park operates properly. Supervisors assist in control of staffing levels maintaining safe cash levels in cashier drawers and tracking and reconciling the cashiering activities for the entire park.
Duties:

Provides guests with exceptional service
Attendsparticipates and completes all park-wide and departmental orientations trainings and meetings.
Reports to work on time and begins to prepare workstation without instruction from management.
Adheres to and enforces all park policies set forth by Beach Park.
Cleans workstations and surrounding areas during/after shift is over and returning all items to proper includes but is not limited to taking out trash cleaning windows and sweeping.
Communicates with guests which includes greeting guests informing guests of park policies/general parkinformationand directing guests to all park locations in person to over the phone.
Places wristbands onguestand checks their bags and ice chests as guests enter the park.
Runs and balances a cash register in an honest organized efficient safe proper and courteous manneratthe direction of the manager.
Responds to guests concerns and provide refunds if needed.
Facilitates staff shift breaks andmaintainsadequate documentation.
Dispatches cashiers and greeters throughout the day to various locations within the park to ensure proper staffing levels.
Conductsinterviews andmakeshiring decisions.
Facilitates training for employees.
Regularlyvisitsall Admissions areas to ensure that cashiers and greeters are not in need of any supplies including but not limited to money wristbands pens receipt paper plastic containers and spoons throughout the day.
Regularly communicates with Staff Servicesregardingstaff counselingattendanceand terminations.
Evaluates staff performance and provides feedback/coaching.
Regularlymaintainssafe cash levels in all park cashier drawers.
Reconcilesall cashiers tills.
Runs and balances cash room in an honest organized efficient safe proper and courteous manneratthe direction of the manager.
Makes guest service and satisfaction a priority in every aspect of their job.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18years of age.
Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.
Must be willing and able to work long summer hoursholidaysand weekends throughout the year.
Must be honest reliable cooperative personable and knowledgeable.
Must be able to use scissors in a safe and efficient manner.
Must be able to pass a basic math/Beach Park cashiering test.
Must have at least 1 year experience at Beach Waterpark.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to stand with or without movement for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work outdoors for extended periods of time as they may be exposed to rainsunand high and low temperatures.
Must be able to bend push up to50lbsandlift upto 50lbs.
Mustfrequentlyuse armshandsand fingers to reach and handle tools and controls.
