General Information
The Cowichan Valley Regional District is now accepting applications for casual Operations Attendant opportunities in the North/Central Cowichan Section of the Facilities Division within the Community Services Department. Reporting to the Manager Facility Operations and supervised by the Operations Attendant - Lead Hand working as a team with an Operations Attendant the Operations Worker is responsible to assist in performance of a variety of tasks related to routine janitorial and operations of the Cowichan Community Centre.
Qualifications
Hours of Work
This is a casual on-call opportunity with no guaranteed hours of work. Shifts are based on the operational needs of the facility. The successful candidate must be able to work a variety of hours and shifts including weekdays weekends evenings and short-notice shifts.
Salary
Wage rate in 3 steps as per the Collective Agreement between the CVRD and CUPE Local 358 $22.40 - $23.01 - $23.67 per hour (2025 rates) plus an additional 14.5% pay in lieu of vacation benefits and statutory holidays.
