We are looking to hire a Human Resources Advisor. This is a temporary position with the successful incumbent commencing on or around 16th March 2026 and finishing up on or around 20th November 2026.

How you will contribute to our mission in getting Australia to space:
The below is designed to give you an idea of the role you will play. There will be many more exciting and innovative things to do.
- Provide accurate timely advice and support to managers and employees on HR policies procedures and employment legislation.
- Manage and resolve employee relations issues including performance management disciplinary action and grievances.
- Support and perform investigations and documentation related to employee complaints or misconduct.
- Coordinate employee engagement surveys and action planning.
- Support and coordinate new employee onboarding and induction processes.
- Coordinate internal movements contracts letters and documentation.
- Perform duties associated with offboarding including exit interviews.
- Assist with implementation and updating of human resources policies and procedures in line with relevant legislation.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act National Employment Standards Modern Awards and other legal requirements
- Assist in the implementation of performance review cycles and employee development programs.
- Assist in the review of internal and external training requirements. This includes sourcing of appropriate courses and co-ordination of bookings and facilitating training and management of the training system.
- Prepare HR reports as required.
- Perform payroll.
- Support HRIS functions in collaboration with relevant departments.
- Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships build morale and increase productivity and retention.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and systems.
- Assist with recruitment processes and pre-employment checks.
- Ensure that Human Resource files and records are maintained in accordance with legislative requirements and company policies and procedures.
- Update HR data in SharePoint and other software as required.
- Organise meetings conferences and functions as required.
- General office administration as required by the Human Resources Manager and Leadership team.
- Other duties as requested by Management.
Mandatory Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related fields or a minimum 5 years of experience in a generalist HR role.
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation award interpretation and HR best practice
- Experience in performing workplace investigations conducting formal employee meetings.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Evidence of exceptional ability
Desired Qualifications Skills and Experience:
- Experience in recruitment.
- Well-developed communication relational conflict resolution skills.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage work demands and deliver outcomes.
- Self-motivated results oriented with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to relate readily to all people within the organisation.
- NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.
