As a Senior Data Analyst at Vector youll play a pivotal role in transforming how we use data to power a smarter more resilient energy future for Tāmaki Makaurau. Youll join a team that is resetting reenergising and lifting capability bringing fresh thinking modern practices and a genuine passion for doing things differently.
Working across highfrequency energy IoT and customer datasets youll uncover insights that improve network performance anticipate issues before they occur and enhance customer experiences. From enabling preemptive maintenance on critical assets to supporting new AIdriven models your work will influence how we keep the lights on for Auckland.
On a typical week you can expect to:
- Deliver highquality accurate and meaningful analysis using modern data platforms including Snowflake and new data models.
- Build intuitive dashboards and visualisations (Power BI highly advantageous) that help nontechnical stakeholders make confident datadriven decisions.
- Partner with teams across the businessincluding network regulatory customer field operations and digitalto understand challenges and translate them into analytical opportunities.
- Bring natural curiosity and a proactive mindset to explore new methodologies perspectives and insights.
- Contribute to a collaborative team culture focused on learning and continuous improvement providing mentorship to uplift analytics capability.
- Support innovation through AIenabled models new data integrations and partnerships including work with Google X and Tapestry.
