Job Summary
- Provide on-call classroom coverage in infant toddler and preschool classrooms
- Follow daily schedules routines and lesson plans provided by the classroom team
- Maintain a safe nurturing and engaging environment at all times
- Supervise children continuously to ensure safety
- Support daily care routines including meals diapering/toileting rest and transitions
- Use positive guidance and age-appropriate behavior support strategies
- Communicate professionally with staff and leadership
- Follow all state licensing regulations health and safety procedures
- Assist with classroom organization and cleanliness as needed
- At least 3 years of experience working with children in a childcare school or early learning setting
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work with multiple age groups
- Flexible availability and reliable attendance
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Calm patient and professional demeanor
- Ability to meet all state and center background clearance requirements
- A dependable professional who can respond to coverage needs on short notice
- Someone who adapts quickly to different classrooms and routines
- A team-oriented individual with strong communication skills
- An educator who prioritizes child safety consistency and professionalism
