  • Undertake traffic surveys scoping and interpretation: turning counts mid-block counts travel time runs parking demand pedestrian counts heavy vehicle counts; develop calibrated base models where required.
  • Develop traffic modelling and scenario testing for:
    • Permanent scheme impacts (new intersections access points ramp terminals weaving sections)
    • Construction-stage impacts (temporary lane drops detours signal timing changes partial closures)
    • Mitigation measures (signal optimization geometry refinements temporary signal plans reversible lanes where permissible)
  • Prepare signage and road marking design inputs and reviews including:
    • Permanent guide signs regulatory/warning signs VMS interface needs (if applicable) and pavement marking strategy
    • Temporary signage for work zones/diversions in accordance with RTA expectations and safety practice
