Working closely with the Head of the EU Affairs Office in a supporting role the task of the intern include:
- Monitoring of EU policies and drafting notes (Mobility Emissions RegulationsRoad Safety Digitalisation Energy Environment and Climate etc.);
- Attendance of and reporting on policy events in Brussels;
- Attendance of and reporting on association meetings;
- Assisting with research and analysis of policy issues;
- Helping with formulating advocacy and position papers;
- Preparing and assisting in outreaches.
Qualifications :
- University degree in European studies politics communications economics law or business (preferably at a Master level).
- Dynamic excited about European affairs able to feel ownership of their projects and see them through;
- Excellent organizational skills;
- Excellent written and spoken English. Fluency in German is a plus;
- Excellent networking and social skills with a special attention to adapt to various intercultural settings;Good analytical conceptual and strategic thinking skills;
- Flexibility willingness to learn and adapt;
- Ability to work independently and as part of an international teamUnderstanding of EU institutions functioning is a plus;
- Interest in transport/mobility digitalization energy environment and climate.
