Our client is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to become a key part of their growing and dynamic team.

The Role

As an Accountant youll play a vital role in delivering high-quality accounting and tax services to a diverse client base. Youll be hands-on with accounts preparation tax compliance and client management while also supporting junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing accurate and timely accounts and financial statements
Managing income tax and corporation tax compliance
Working across multiple accounting platforms includingIris Sage Xero and FreeAgent
Liaising withHMRCon tax and compliance matters
Building strong relationships with clients and confidently handling queries
Gathering and reviewing client information efficiently and accurately
Mentoring and supporting junior staff with accounting-related queries

What Were Looking For

35 years experiencein accounts preparation (practice-based non-audit)
ACCA or AAT qualification desirable but not essential
Confidence using (or willingness to learn) a range of accounting software
Strong Excel and general office skills
Excellent time management with the ability to meet deadlines independently
A team player who is equally comfortable working autonomously
Strong communication skills and a professional client-focused approach
