Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Network Technician to lead and support the installation configuration and maintenance of enterprise network infrastructure. This role is highly hands-on and focuses on deploying and supporting network hardware such as switches routers firewalls and wireless access points across multiple environments. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with the ability to mentor junior staff and take ownership of network deployments and troubleshooting efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Lead installation configuration and deployment of network hardware including switches routers firewalls and wireless access points
Perform rack-and-stack structured cabling coordination labeling and equipment documentation
Configure and support LAN WAN and WLAN environments including VLANs trunking and routing
Troubleshoot complex network issues across wired and wireless environments
Support network upgrades migrations and hardware refresh projects
Validate network performance and ensure stability post-deployment
Maintain and update network diagrams asset inventories and technical documentation
Serve as an escalation point for network-related issues
Mentor and guide junior network technicians
Collaborate with network engineers systems teams and vendors
Participate in on-call rotations and scheduled after-hours maintenance as required

Required Qualifications

5 years of experience in network support network technician or network operations roles
Strong hands-on experience installing and supporting switches routers firewalls and access points
In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP VLANs subnetting DHCP DNS and routing concepts
Experience working with enterprise networking platforms (Cisco Aruba Meraki Juniper Fortinet etc.)
Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex network connectivity issues
Experience working in data center campus or multi-site environments
Excellent documentation communication and organizational skills

$25 - $25 an hour
