Position summary: Roy Jorgensen Associates Inc. is currently seeking full-timeSweeping Crew membersto perform advanced maintenance operations during the night shift in the Dallas - Fort Worth TX area. This position is based in Grand Prairie TXand requires performing a variety of tasks related to roadway maintenance primarily roadway sweeping and debris removal. Occasionally special events will require performing tasks related to snow and ice control and incident response. Adherence to all applicable federal state and local regulations as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures is required.Schedule flexibility is a must.
Preferred Experience:
Minimum 2years of related experience
Ability to operate equipment such as wheel loaders skid steerspowered sweeping equipment (mechanical or vacuum)
CDL license a plus
Bilingual: English/Spanish (read/write) preferred but not required
Clean driving record is essential
Must pass criminal background check
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)
Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations
Carry out simple arithmetic functions
Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job
Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology
Ability to use smart phone and applications
Ability to adjust to changing work schedule
Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions

Required Experience:
Ability to work at varied heights
Exposure to using shovels brooms & various small hand tools
Must have a valid Drivers License
