Job Summary

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong financial domain expertise to design build and maintain scalable data solutions that support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. This role focuses on developing ETL pipelines SQL Server T-SQL stored procedures and SAS EG/DI jobs while contributing to data warehouse and data modeling initiatives. Youll play a critical role in ensuring data quality and accuracy across month-end close balance sheet P&L and risk reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Data Management & Analysis

Consolidate and analyze financial data including budgets income statement forecasts Balance Sheet Profit and Loss statements taking into account company goals and financial standing
Research and resolve discrepancies in financial data and manage the month-end close process with precision and accuracy

Data Engineering & ETL Development

Build stored procedures and ETL jobs to reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data across multiple systems.
Develop SQL Server T-SQL procedures and functions for batch processing and reporting aligned with user and business requirements.
Design and implement SAS EG and SAS DI jobs for complex data transformations and analytics.

Data Architecture & Database Solutions

Contribute to data warehouse design and implementation including dimensional modeling and architecture components
Design and optimize relational database management systems and comprehensive database design solutions
Implement data marts for specific business intelligence and reporting needs.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all data solutions meet regulatory compliance standards and financial reporting requirements
Support risk reporting processes and risk management frameworks with accurate timely data delivery
Maintain data integrity standards for market risk credit risk and operational risk reporting.

ETL/EET/ETM Tools and Processes Expert-level proficiency
SQL Server T-SQL Advanced stored procedure and function development
SAS EG & SAS DI Hands-on experience with Enterprise Guide and Data Integration

Data Modeling Dimensional modeling star schema snowflake schema
Data Marts Design and deployment for business intelligence
Financial & Domain Expertise
Financial Reporting Balance Sheet P&L Cash Flow statements
