Permanent Job Title: Merchandiser Company: Msuez UK Location: Cape Town South Africa Contract Details: Full-time Permanent Msuez UK is a leading retail company based in Cape Town South Africa. We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized Merchandiser to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. As a Merchandiser you will be responsible for creating and maintaining attractive displays in our retail stores. You will work closely with the buying and marketing teams to ensure that our products are displayed in a visually appealing and organized manner in line with our brand image. Key Responsibilities: - Create visually appealing displays in our retail stores to attract and engage customers - Collaborate with the buying team to ensure that products are displayed in line with current trends and promotions - Monitor inventory levels and communicate with the buying team to ensure that products are restocked in a timely manner - Conduct regular store visits to ensure that displays are maintained and updated according to company standards - Work with the marketing team to plan and execute in-store events and promotions - Build and maintain relationships with store managers to ensure that our products are given prime placement in the stores - Provide feedback to the buying and marketing teams on customer preferences and sales trends - Keep up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activities to identify potential opportunities for improvement Qualifications and Skills: - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in marketing business or related field is preferred - Proven experience as a Merchandiser or in a similar role - Strong understanding of retail merchandising principles and techniques - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong organizational and time-management skills - Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software - Ability to travel to different store locations as needed If you have a passion for retail and a keen eye for visual merchandising we would love to hear from this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.
