The Advanced Practice Provider serves as a trusted clinician and clinical resource delivering high-quality care through comprehensive patient evaluation treatment education and follow-up.
Required Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Nurse Practitioner: Masters degree from an accredited nursing program
- Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited PA program
- Active Maryland license (or ability to obtain)
- Current DEA license and Maryland Controlled Dangerous Substance (CDS) license
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association or approved provider)
- Unrestricted license with no history of suspension or revocation
- Eligible for participation with all payers
Skills & Experience
- Prior experience in Gastroenterology or adult primary care preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR experience preferred)
- Excellent organizational time-management and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a team-based environment
