IBA Associate - Fixed Term Contract
Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an analytical individual to join our Insurance Broker Accounts (IBA) team who work closely with Locktons clients and insurance underwriters to carry out the reconciliation and management of client money.
This is an excellent role for someone with an interest in finance and a keen eye for detail to join a dynamic and growing business. The successful candidate will demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and initiative and will be an excellent communicator who builds positive and successful relationships with stakeholders.
Based in our Brighton office you will:
Act as liaison for our clients or insurance underwriters constantly work to improve and strengthen relationships and review processes to mutual benefit including instigating key insurer partnership meetings
Be responsible for the reconciliation of accounts by working with clients to ensure funds are collected and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Have responsibility for making premium payments (PPWs) to insurance underwriters to deadlines
Manage query escalation to Locktons broking divisions and within IBA ensuring compliance with internal procedures and external regulatory requirements
Maintain tracking systems and reports and ensure accurate data and record management
Candidate Profile
You should have the following experience:
- Previous experience of working within IBA.
- Good numerical ability and an analytical mindset
- Ability to compile analyse and interpret financial information and data to facilitate decision making with excellent attention to detail
- An effective communicator with the ability to build and maintain positive and successful business relationships with Lockton colleagues our clients and insurers
- Ability to manage time prioritise and ensure that deadlines are met without compromising quality
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite including Excel
- Experience of working with Brokasure (desirable)
- An understanding of cash collection/payment processes such as general insurance accounting and client invoicing
Please note this a 3 month Fixed Term Contract.
