The primary focus of the lab is visual search: How we find what we are looking for. These are errors that can be annoying (missed typos) or dangerous (missed cancer in an Xray). Our work is largely behavioral (including eye tracking) and includes in person and on-line studies. We do fundamental research as well as use-inspired research especially in the realm of medical image perception. You can learn more here.
