Job Summary
Job Description
Unit: Community Based Health Data SystemBureau: Data Analytics Research and Evaluation (BDARE)
Duties:
Assist with the review of the technical specifications for the current database and for the database being developed
Provide technical support and problem solving to help internal and external users
Prepare and deliver basic training on accessing entering data and running reports
Answer questions or resolve computer problems for staff
Provide support with computer hardware and software
Assist in development of training programs and materials about use of data
Other duties as assigned.
Skills required:
Advanced computer and software skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 software package with an emphasis on Access Excel and Word.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to use office machines including multiphone line copier fax/scanner.
Ability to correspond with stakeholders by both phone and email.
Ability to handle a high volume of work in a fast-paced office environment and to meet deadlines.
Ability to both collaborate and work independently.
Ability to organize work and document progress of projects through to completion.
Ability to multi-task and adjust priorities as directed by management.
Additional skills preferred:
Knowledge of public health programs.
