Job Summary

The Role
You will teach Art across KS3 and KS4 with opportunities to contribute to KS5 depending on experience and departmental need. The role focuses on delivering engaging skill-based lessons that encourage experimentation critical thinking and confident self-expression.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Art lessons across a range of media
Teaching drawing painting mixed media and creative processes
Assessing and moderating coursework in line with exam requirements
Encouraging originality risk-taking and independent artistic thinking
Maintaining high expectations for behaviour presentation and effort
Contributing to curriculum development and departmental improvement
Supporting enrichment activities such as exhibitions clubs or creative projects
