About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Specialist with deep expertise in SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) to support and enhance business-critical finance processes. This role requires close collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure stable efficient and scalable SAP solutions. The ideal candidate is a senior expert who can independently drive initiatives and act as a trusted advisor within complex SAP environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Translate business requirements into effective SAP VIM solutions ensuring seamless integration with the SAP landscape.
Configure optimize and enhance invoice workflows in SAP VIM including solution adjustments when required.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful design delivery and implementation.
Lead and manage configuration testing and deployment activities for SAP solutions.
Independently drive assigned tasks and provide structured progress updates to stakeholders.
Act as a subject matter expert advising on SAP solution design best practices and long-term optimization.
Requirements:
10 years of hands-on experience with SAP VIM including integration with SAP Fiori applications.
Strong expertise in SAP ECC including solution design architecture concepts principles and configuration.
Solid proficiency in SAP FICO processes and best practices.
Experience with invoice document capture tools and their integration with SAP.
Proven experience participating in at least three full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
Extensive experience in long-term support and continuous optimization of SAP VIM solutions including issue resolution and incremental improvements.
Experience in S/4HANA migration projects.
Strong understanding of SAP transport and change management tools such as STMS SAP Solution Manager and ActiveControl.
Functional experience in developing WRICEF objects (Workflows Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements and Forms).
Good understanding of ABAP; familiarity with Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP) is an advantage.
Familiarity with JIRA ServiceNow and Agile methodologies is a plus.
Strong ability to communicate complex finance accounting and SAP topics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of financial processes in large complex organizations
Capabilities and Leadership SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical skills with a structured approach to change management.
Ability to work effectively in international and cross-functional teams.
Proactive mindset with a passion for continuous learning and staying current with new technologies and industry trends.
Willingness to contribute actively to Communities of Practice (CoP).
Excellent communication skills with experience supporting workshops and collaborating with stakeholders.
