Job Summary: The Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with acute medical conditions. This role focuses on assessment monitoring and coordinated care delivery within an inpatient medical-surgical environment.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive assessments and ongoing monitoring of medical-surgical patients.
Administer medications and treatments per provider orders and nursing standards.
Identify changes in patient condition and escalate care appropriately.
Document nursing care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support patient care plans.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience Required
Minimum 2 years of overall RN experience Required
Completed Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required
Unit staffing ratio: 1:5
EPIC EMR experience highly preferred

Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Required

Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

License: Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License Required
