Job Summary
Job Summary
- Position: Digital Product Designer
- Location: WHQ Beaverton (Mon-Thurs onsite Fri WFH); preference for Portland OR candidates but open to relocation
- Assignment Duration: Full two years
- Interview Process: 3 rounds quick turnaround desired
- Main Focus: Lead design for world-class mobile experiences (iOS and Android) powering next-generation hardware products
- Ideal Experience:
- Product design for mobile apps (iOS/Android)
- Experience with app creation for wearables (e.g. Fitbit Peloton Apple Watch) or connected hardware (e.g. Alexa Google Nest Ring)
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design user interfaces and interactions for mobile apps and connected hardware
- Translate research and requirements into wireframes prototypes and polished designs
- Collaborate with engineering QA and product management throughout development
- Partner with UX Research to iterate based on user feedback
- Maintain and evolve design systems and documentation
- Advocate for accessibility and usability
- Support planning and delivery of long-term initiatives
- Present design strategy and rationale to leadership and cross-functional teams
- Team Collaboration:
- Work with Nikes Advanced Product Ventures team (product managers engineers QA UX researchers)
- Key member of the Experience Squad driving digital experiences for athletes
