Position Type: Staff Augmentation Full-Time Onsite
Duration: 1 Year (Projected Start Date: January 19 2026)
Work Schedule: Monday Friday 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Position Overview: The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking Customer Service Representatives (Level 3) to join the Taxpayer Services Division. This is a customer-facing role focused on licensing and payment processing. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional service to taxpayers process license applications and updates and ensure accurate handling of payments and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities: - Receive process and apply payments (cash checks money orders) for all tax types to taxpayer accounts.
- Perform daily reconciliation and end-of-day balancing of assigned till.
- Assist taxpayers with inquiries regarding licensing laws rules and procedures.
- Process license applications and updates accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain compliance with agency policies and security requirements.
Requirements: - Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in customer service and data entry.
- At least a few months of cashiering experience.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail excellent communication and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Other: Must be local to Phoenix AZ at the time of submission and available for in-person interviews.
Preferred Qualifications: - Bilingual (Spanish-speaking preferred).
Additional Information: - Security Clearance: Required.
- Travel: None.
- Work Environment: 100% onsite at Phoenix office.
