Job Summary

Were looking for a creative analytical and trend-savvy Social Media Marketer to own and elevate our brands presence across major platforms. Youll develop strategy create compelling content engage communities manage campaigns and drive measurable business results for a technology-based startup. This role involves international collaboration and requires a 9 a.m. IST meeting two to three times per week.

Key responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies aligned with business goals (brand awareness lead generation community growth sales support).
  • Plan create curate and schedule high-performing content across platforms including Instagram TikTok X (Twitter) LinkedIn YouTube Facebook Discord and emerging channels.
  • Manage content calendars and ensure consistent brand voice visual identity and posting cadence.
  • Create email marketing campaigns
  • Cultivate top-of-funnel contact lists from target markets.
  • Build and nurture online communities by responding to comments and DMs providing light customer support fostering user-generated content and running engagement campaigns.
  • Monitor social media trends platform algorithm changes and competitor activity to keep strategies fresh and effective.
  • Oversee paid social campaigns (Meta Ads TikTok Ads LinkedIn Ads X Ads) including budget allocation audience targeting creative testing and optimization.
  • Analyze performance using native analytics and tools (e.g. Google Analytics Sprout Social Hootsuite Meta Business Suite). Report on KPIs such as reach engagement rate conversions ROAS and growth.
  • Collaborate with marketing design product and sales teams to ensure cohesive campaigns.

Requirements & qualifications
  • 1-3 years of hands-on social media management experience (agency brand or in-house).
  • Proven track record of growing accounts and driving measurable results (engagement followers leads and sales).
  • Deep expertise in major platforms (especially Instagram TikTok and LinkedIn in 2026) and strong understanding of short-form video trends.
  • Experience with paid social advertising and budget management.
  • Proficiency in social media tools (Hootsuite Later Buffer Sprout Social Canva Pro CapCut Adobe Premiere Devinci Resolve and/or other editing software).
  • Strong copywriting visual storytelling and community management skills.
  • Analytical mindset and comfort reading data and turning insights into action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred skills
  • Degree in Marketing Communications Digital Media or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Familiarity with SEO basics and how social signals impact search.
  • Creative eye for design and video editing.
  • Ability to stay calm during viral moments or PR issues.
Bonus
  • Experience with AI content tools influencer partnerships Reels and Shorts strategy or crisis communications.
