Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced AVEVA MES Engineer to design develop and maintain Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions for industrial automation environments. The role requires deep hands-on expertise in AVEVA MES (Operations & Performance) System Platform and OMI along with strong knowledge of industrial automation standards and integration practices.

Mandatory Skills

Extensive experience with AVEVA / Wonderware MES
- Operations & Performance modules
- Application development architecture and system design
Strong expertise in AVEVA System Platform and OMI development and configuration
In-depth understanding of industrial automation concepts and principles

Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary technical expert for AVEVA MES supporting internal teams and external stakeholders
Design develop and maintain MES applications aligned with industrial automation requirements
Assist in designing implementing and optimizing automated industrial systems
Integrate PLCs and devices with AVEVA systems using industrial protocols such as:
- OPC
- ABCIP / ABTCP
- MBTCP
- MQTT
- REST APIs
Implement security best practices for industrial control systems
Configure and manage alarming and notification systems enabling real-time alerts for critical events
Maintain awareness of industry standards technologies and best practices

Desired / Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with AVEVA Workflow
Working knowledge of SQL Server
Exposure to .NET programming
