Job Summary

Job Title: Informatica developer

Location: RestonVA (5 days Onsite)

Contract: One year

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Informatica Developer with strong AWS exposure to design develop and maintain scalable data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Informatica tools cloud data platforms and AWS services supporting enterprise-level data warehousing and analytics initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Design develop and implement ETL/ELT workflows using Informatica PowerCenter / IICS
Develop and optimize data pipelines integrating on-prem and cloud data sources
Work with AWS services such as S3 Redshift RDS Glue Lambda and EC2
Perform data extraction transformation and loading from structured and unstructured sources
Ensure data quality validation and performance tuning of Informatica jobs
Collaborate with data architects business analysts and stakeholders
Monitor troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures and performance issues
Implement best practices for data security governance and compliance in AWS
Participate in code reviews deployments and production support

Required Skills & Qualifications:

5 years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
Strong experience in AWS Cloud (S3 Redshift RDS Glue Lambda)
Solid understanding of Data Warehousing concepts ETL architecture and SDLC
Proficiency in SQL (Oracle / SQL Server / PostgreSQL / Snowflake preferred)
Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
Knowledge of data modeling and performance tuning techniques
Experience with scheduling tools (Control-M Autosys or Informatica Scheduler)
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
