Job Summary

Basic Grade Pharmaceutical Technician

Full Time Permanent

The ideal candidate will on the closing date of application for this position:

Possess the Pharmaceutical Technician Diploma awarded by the University of Dublin or
Possess a Pharmacy Technicians qualification at QQI Level 6 awarded by the Technological University Dublin Technological University of the Shannon Letterkenny Institute of Technology Institute of Technology Carlow or Munster Technological University orPossess the Pharmacy Services Certificate (NVQ 3) offered by the Irish Pharmaceutical Union
Hospital experience is desirable
Aseptic Cytotoxic Compounding skills including chemotherapy is desirable
Have excellent time management and organisational skills
Be flexible and capable of working on his/her own initiative
Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This position is a rotational role and may involve rotations to all areas in the Pharmacy Department as required.
