About the role

Join our dynamic McNab Property Development team as a Senior Development Manager at our Broadbeach Office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of some incredible property developments and to play a pivotal leadership role within our team. Reporting directly to the Head of Property Development you will oversee a talented team including Development Managers Assistant Development Managers and Graduates.

In this senior position you will collaborate closely with our Sales & Product Manager to devise effective sales and marketing strategies and partner with the Construction Project Manager to ensure successful project delivery. Your extensive experience will be instrumental in executing our strategies from site acquisition and funding to product concept and feasibility analysis. Additionally you will contribute to marketing initiatives and project revenue generation. Working alongside our Construction Project Manager you will also guide the construction delivery and settlement processes.

As a key leader within our Property Development Team you will not only drive project success but also cultivate a positive culture through mentorship and coaching. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel and foster their professional growth.

About You

We are looking for a candidate with experience in multi-residential and commercial property developments as well as a solid understanding of the local market. A passion for the property development process and a commitment to building strong internal and external stakeholder relationships are essential. You should be solutions-focused capable of collaborating with diverse teams and adept at identifying trends.

We are seeking the following:

• A degree in Property Economics Business Marketing or a related discipline is highly desirable.
• A commitment to coaching and mentoring team members promoting knowledge sharing and career development.
• Proven ability to work within development strategies challenging concepts to achieve team objectives.
• Experience in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies aligned with project concepts to meet pre-sales targets and drive revenue.
• Strong passion for property development with a keen interest in market intelligence and successful sales strategies.
• Proactive in identifying negotiating and resolving potential project issues and knowing when to escalate them appropriately.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders both internal and external.
• Demonstrated success in a similar role with a strong track record.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal with a confident yet humble demeanor.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to embrace feedback and a desire to continuously learn and grow.
