The Opportunity

Downers Energy & Utilities Water business is seeking a Community Engagement Advisor to play a key role in delivering high-quality engagement across the NG4D program. You will support the development and implementation of communication and engagement initiatives that build trust enhance stakeholder experiences and contribute to successful program outcomes. This is a dynamic role where youll collaborate with project teams councils and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and positive community impact.

This opportunity has a mix of office (Fortitude Valley) and site based (Brisbane Metro) exposure.

What Were Looking For

Were seeking a motivated professional with:

Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in communications public relations marketing or equivalent experience. IAP2 training desirable.
Experience:
- 35 years in community/stakeholder engagement or corporate communications.
- Experience in infrastructure or utilities projects highly regarded.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and deliver engagement strategies and resolve stakeholder issues.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work flexibly across sites.
